At NON, we are acutely aware of the need to be sustainable in our manufacturing and close the loop when it comes to producing our pre poo toilet spray.
With this in mind, we had to weigh up the want for all things pretty in packaging and provide you, our customer, with a responsible, sustainable product. And if I'm honest, I reckon we've nailed both.
Here's how we're tracking so far… I say so far, as new and innovative solutions are continually being introduced, and when those solutions become available and make sense for NON, we jump on board.
Our product is manufactured and developed here, in Sydney, Australia.
This was a conscious decision from the outset – while manufacturing can be more expensive in Australia, the difference is negligible when you balance the cost and carbon emissions from transporting goods worldwide.
At NON, we are committed to using PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic in our packaging to reduce environmental impact. We source our packaging from Australian companies specialising in PCR manufacturing; this supports local industry and minimises the carbon footprint associated with transportation.
What is PCR?
PCR plastic is manufactured from recycled and repurposed plastic collected from beaches, oceans, land and recycling plants. ♻️ ✅ 🐢 Currently, both our 125ml and our 250ml bottles are 100% PCR – NO VIRGIN plastic. We are working closely with our manufacturers to deliver a 100% PCR offering by 2024.
We strive to reduce carbon footprint by implementing carbon-neutral transportation practices throughout our supply chain. This includes selecting shipping options with the lowest carbon emissions.
Our shipping partners are 100% carbon neutral.
We ship 85% of your orders via Sendle – Australia's first carbon-neutral courier company.
And the remaining 15% via Australia Post - *note, unlike Sendle, not all Australia Post deliveries are carbon-neutral – only orders shipped via MyBusiness Post. All your orders are shipped via MyBusiness Post.
And, of course, our beloved formula. That goes without saying – it has always been non-toxic and 100% biodegradable. Never tested on animals (only stinky humans)
Thank you to all our customers joining us in this journey, mission, crusade way of life. As always, if you have feedback or suggestions, please email me directly email@example.com
